Meet The Founder
Daniel Bortone is a communications and cybersecurity professional with more than a decade of experience designing, securing, and managing critical communication networks in high-risk and mission-critical environments.
His career began in the United States Army, where he served as both a Line Communications Sergeant and PSD Communications Sergeant. During his military service, he was responsible for building and maintaining secure networks, satellite communications systems, and radio communications infrastructure while managing COMSEC operations and providing secure communications support for command personnel. Daniel completed three combat deployments to Afghanistan and later served on a Combat Advisor Team, training and advising foreign military forces on communications security and operational best practices.
Following his military service, Daniel transitioned into the private sector as a Field Service Engineer supporting network deployments and technical infrastructure projects. He later advanced to Technical Project Manager, leading the deployment of integrated safety and accountability systems with access control integration across manufacturing facilities, oil and gas refineries, and other high-risk industrial environments.
Drawing on experience across military operations, cybersecurity, communications, physical security, and critical infrastructure, Daniel founded Fox Company Consulting to help organizations, small businesses, and individuals identify vulnerabilities, reduce risk, and improve operational resilience through practical, real-world security solutions.
His approach combines cyber security, physical security, workforce awareness, and preparedness into a unified strategy designed to protect people, information, assets, and operations.
